My wife Jennifer and I chose to live in Cupertino because of its outstanding schools, and we raised our two daughters here. Watching them grow up through our public schools gave me a deep appreciation for the teachers, staff, and families who make our district exceptional.

For the past eight years, I have had the privilege of serving on the Cupertino Union School District Board of Education, including two terms as Board President. Throughout that time, I have approached every decision with the same guiding principles: put students first, ask thoughtful questions, and make decisions based on facts and long-term thinking.

Outside the boardroom, I have spent my career leading engineering teams and developing technologies that serves millions around the world. That experience has taught me how to solve complex problems, build consensus, and plan for the future, skills that are just as important in public education as they are in business.

I believe our responsibility extends beyond maintaining excellent schools. We must prepare students for a rapidly changing world while preserving the strong academic foundation and supportive learning environment that have made CUSD schools among the best in California.

Serving our community has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I remain committed to student success, responsible governance, and working together with families, educators, and our community to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive.
