I was invited to teach a course on IEEE 1451.1 at a workshop in Crete at the small resort town of Analipsi. It was a fabulous experience. It took four flights (San Jose to Los Angeles to London to Athens to Heraklion) to get there and was probably the furthest I've been from home...
Fonfon and I were married aboard the Diamond Princess during a cruise to Alaska! Fonfon and I went to Disneyland for a week of fun and then stopped at King's Canyon National Park on the way back.
Fonfon and I made a trip to China to visit her father and then joined a tour group to Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Suzhou.
Fonfon and I made a cruise on the Grand Princess in the western Caribbean. It was a most romantic vacation with unforgettable musical performances by the Arcus Quartet and Danny Mills every night!
Nancy was moving cross country from Silicon Valley to NYC, and I had always wanted to see America through the freeways, so we packed up her belongings on her red Jeep Cherokee and headed east!
